Intro
The picturesque Rhine Valley The narrow Rhine has grown into a majestic river and, in its final stretch on Swiss soil, flows through the idyllic Rhine Valley.
To the south, the plateau mountains of the Jura range border the river and occasionally offer wonderful views of the expanses of the Black Forest. Beautiful, partly covered bridges connect Switzerland to the world here, and on both sides of the river, charming villages and small towns await you. Basel, a gateway to the world, is also where you’ll arrive at the end of your hiking journey along ancient fisherman’s paths.
