Week-end "The roar of the stags"

The roar echoes through the autumn Aletsch forest; the stags are once again vying for the favor of the females. That this is not always entirely peaceful goes without saying. On a hike through the Aletsch forest and a stalk through the morning twilight, we set out in search of the kings of the Aletsch forest. We learn interesting facts about their behavior, and with a bit of luck, we may even observe them during the rut. On Saturday between 1:00 PM and 1:45 PM, participants will meet at the center. After a welcome, we will embark on a several-hour hike through the Aletsch forest, during which we will learn about the habitat of the stags. On Sunday at daybreak, we will set out to listen to the roar of the red deer. With a bit of luck, we may also observe the rutting stags. The weekend concludes after breakfast at around 10:00 AM.
