Based on the hotel’s philosophy of “Go the extra mile”, every wish is fulfilled at Romantik Hotel Schweizerhof. For example, aperitifs are served in the hotel garden, in our Fuhrenmatte or on the ballroom terrace, where guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the Eiger North Face and mountains of the Bernese Oberland. The elegant “Wetterhorn” ballroom, which is used for weddings, accommodates 190 people.

Culinary first-class dining in the gourmet restaurant Schmitte, which boasts 14 GaultMillau points. Or try out the rustic Gaststübli for a stylish Fondue-Stübli for up to 16 people and the “Alpenterrassen” with a 4-course menu that changes daily. Getting there

By car: you reach Interlaken by the main freeways (green sign) from Basel, Geneva or Zürich via Bern. From here, you follow the high street (blue sign) to Grindelwald. By train: direct, international trains bring you to Interlaken. There you change to the »Berner Oberland Bahn (BoB)« wich is another 35 minutes ride to Grindelwald.
