Nestling between the Harder and the Seven Hengsten, the attractive village lies at the foot of the Augstmatthorn. Due to the isolation of the village, the villagers’ daily life still exhibits an adherence to many old traditions. The village has a population of 700. Because of its hills and summits, the valley possesses an incredible variety of flora and fauna. The magnificent moor landscape surrounding the Lombach Alp offers a special experience in the natural world.
