Rustic and authentic! Enjoy an unforgettable day in Pays-d'Enhaut.
The day begins with a ride on a GoldenPass-MOB scenic train from Montreux or Zweisimmen. In Château-d’Oex, you will discover the secrets of making a Swiss alpine cheese.
At the restaurant Le Chalet, the farmer makes one “Le Chalet Bio” cheese per day from 400 litres of fresh milk in the traditional way – over a wood fire. Enjoy your delicious fondue in this rustic setting. Above the restaurant on the first floor, you will find the GoldenPass MOB trains miniature railway, which will make the eyes of big and small visitors shine brightly. Lastly, a “souvenir bag” will be given to you in the restaurant to remember this truly Swiss experience. In the afternoon visit the Musée du Pays-d'Enhaut where you can discover the treasures of local crafts and the art of paper-cutting.
The return time to your starting point or the onward journey on the GoldenPass MOB trains is at your free choice. Reserving a seat for this is recommended but not included in the price.
