Rustic and authentic! Enjoy an unforgettable day in Pays-d'Enhaut in the Alpes Vaudoises.
The day begins with a ride on a GoldenPass MOB scenic train from Montreux or Zweisimmen. In Château-d’Oex, you will discover the secrets of making a Swiss alpine cheese.
At the restaurant "Le Chalet", the farmer makes one “Le Chalet Bio” cheese per day from 400 litres of fresh milk in the traditional way – over a wood fire. Enjoy your delicious fondue in this rustic setting.
Above the restaurant on the first floor, you will find the GoldenPass MOB trains miniature railway, which will make the eyes of big and small visitors shine brightly. In the afternoon you can visit the museum "Musée du Pays-d'Enhaut" with free admission where you can discover the treasures of local crafts and the art of paper-cutting. Also you receive 50% reduction on the entrance to the "Espace Ballon" (hot air balloon museum).
The return time to your starting point or the onward journey on the GoldenPass MOB trains is at your free choice. Reserving a seat for this is recommended but not included in the price.
