The Chablais emergency services are reaching out to the public during Partners’ Day 2026.
The police, ambulance service and fire brigade will come together for an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from one another, with a focus on building closer ties and mutual understanding. This year’s event will be dedicated to fostering dialogue between the emergency services and people who speak other languages or have a migrant background, with the aim of raising awareness of the services’ roles and responsibilities, as well as the correct actions to take in an emergency.
Throughout the day, visitors of all ages will be able to explore the world of emergency services through a range of activities: demonstrations of real-life interventions, simulations of battery fires and pan fires, hands-on fire extinguisher training, as well as fire prevention activities using Lego constructions.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to speak directly with the emergency services personnel, ask questions and enjoy a friendly get-together over light refreshments.
A day full of discoveries, discussions and awareness-raising to strengthen the ties between the emergency services and the people of the Chablais region.
