Taking inspiration from the works of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, Coffee & Conversation invites you to talk fashion! Open up your wardrobe, pull out your favourite pieces, and tell their tale.
Taking inspiration from the works of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, Coffee & Conversation invites you to talk fashion! Open up your wardrobe, pull out your favourite pieces, and tell their tale. Listen to fellow guests reveal beloved garments, hairstyles, and accessories, and swap insights about personal expression and style.
Coffee & Conversation, hosted at the Foyer Public by the Fondation Beyeler for the duration of the "Yayoi Kusama" exhibition, is free for everyone. Its friendly atmosphere provides a pleasant opportunity to talk and listen, to discover new stories and remember old ones while sharing rich memories and moments.
Coffee & Conversation is led by Monika Hungerbühler, a feminist theologian trained in pastoral care and story sharing, and a member of Fondation Beyeler’s education team.
Open to participants aged 18 and above
Please note that Coffee & Conversation does not take place in the museum.
Venue: Foyer Public, Theaterstrasse 9, 4051 Basel
Participants will be welcomed in the Foyer Public lobby.
