Introduzione
Come and enjoy a unique concert high in the mountains with the EOLYS wind quintet.
From the sparkling elegance of Jacques Ibert’s "Trois pièces brèves" to the magnificent quintet by Franz Danzi, a contemporary of Beethoven, the programme combines expressiveness and virtuosity. It continues with a Caribbean flavour courtesy of Paquito D’Rivera, who blends classical music with Latin-Cuban rhythms, before giving way to Ligeti’s inventiveness in his "Bagatelles". As a grand finale, Bizet’s famous "Carmen Suite" brings together the opera’s most iconic melodies in a brilliant arrangement full of character.
* The concert starts at 2.00 pm (duration: 60 minutes); the last cable car to the venue departs at 1.30 pm.
* Admission to the concert is free!
* Access to the concert venue is via the Tracouet cable car.
