Come and explore the landscapes of Nendaz on guided walks. These walks allow you to explore the region at a leisurely pace, taking in natural sites and iconic landmarks. From irrigation channels to forests, mountain pastures and panoramic views, each outing offers the chance to learn more about the region’s heritage and environment, whilst enjoying time in the great outdoors.
**THE 24th OF AUGUST AOÛT 2026 / HIKE TO PRA DA DZEU**
Starting from Haute-Nendaz, this walk takes you through the forests of Nendaz and Isérables to the magnificent Pra da Dzeu clearing. Crossed by the Saxon bisse – the longest bisse in Valais – this walk offers an exceptional natural setting. Surrounded by majestic larch trees, this spot invites you to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy a truly peaceful moment.
**THE 25TH OF AUGUST 2026 / HIKE ALONG THE BISSES**
Discover the unique heritage of the bisses on a guided walk combining nature and history. Following the paths once used by the bisse guardians, you’ll pass through forests, meadows and characteristic landscapes whilst learning about the vital role these irrigation channels played in the life of mountain villages. A walk full of discoveries, blending culture and nature.
**THE 26TH OF AUGUST 2026 / HIKE TO THE LAC DU GRAND DÉSERT**
Set off to explore the magnificent Lac du Grand Désert, nestled in the heart of a spectacular Alpine landscape. This peaceful spot is the perfect place to unwind: take the time to dip your feet in its crystal-clear waters, soak up the tranquillity of the surroundings and recharge your batteries whilst taking in the breathtaking views. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a few ibex roaming in their natural habitat.
* The hike to the Lac du Grand Désert : the departure point is at the top of the Combatseline chairlift (chairlift fare not included in the price)
