Le Champ des Sirènes
Panoramica
Introduzione
by Anaïs Vouillamoz
Flower: noun (Latin flos, floris) Enchanting, alluring, complex, fleeting, mysterious… As much a healer as it is dangerous, the flower challenges our senses and our relationship with the living world. An undeniable visual poet, it is also capable of communicating through electrical signals and emitting sound frequencies that are, unfortunately, imperceptible to the human ear.Over the past two years, Anaïs Vouillamoz has traveled throughout Valais, conducting artistic research that explores the rich diversity of the region’s flora. She has photographed, collected information and sounds, and listened to the insights of her loved ones and experts, thereby creating a form of documentary from which she ultimately developed the concept for an exhibition—a tribute to the love we hold for flowers.*Le Champ des Sirènes* offers the public a snapshot of a journey that, in her view, is only just beginning—and which demonstrates that, together, we shape the heritage of tomorrow.Dates to RememberOpening: Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.Closing: Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. — guided tour and sound performance in the presence of the artist, as part of Museum Night.
