Introduzione
The downhill bike racing series for children and young people.
Today's children come into contact with cycling at a much earlier age than in the past. As a result, their enthusiasm and skill levels are higher than ever. In Switzerland, however, there is a lack of facilities for these motivated and technically gifted children.
This is one of the reasons why Swiss downhill racers find it hard to win World Cup races. We want to remedy this situation with the "GP Valiant" and create a base for future racers.
In qualifying races held throughout Switzerland, the three fastest children in each category qualify for the final. Five categories from U5 to U13, girls and boys separated.
The HOT-TRAIL Swiss Downhill Cup, which has been touring Switzerland since 2020, serves as a model for the "Valiant-GP". The introduction of the U15 category in the cup guarantees young riders a seamless progression.
Schedule:
\- Registration and number collection: 8\.30 \- 10\.30 a\.m\.
\- Training for all categories: 9\.00 \- 10\.45
\- 1st race: 11\.00 \- 12\.15
\- 2nd race: 13\.15 \- 14\.30
\- Announcement of results 30 min\. after end of race
