Introduzione
Julian Kainrath is a young, passionate violinist with an impressive musical background: His training spans from the Odessa school through the Russian tradition of Oistrakh to the Franco-Belgian
The young Italian Julian Kainrath is bursting with passion. And his "violinistic genealogy" is equally impressive: From the legendary Odessa School of Piotr Stoliarsky (the teacher of David Oistrakh) through Dora Schwarzberg, to the great Russian School of Oistrakh via Boris Kuschnir in Graz, to the Franco-Belgian tradition of Eugène Ysaÿe, which he is currently experiencing with Marc Bouchkov at the Royal Conservatory in Liège. Julian Kainrath travels to Gstaad with two absolute milestones of violin technique that were created only a few months apart: Franck's Sonata (as a wedding gift to Ysaÿe) and Grieg's Sonata No. 3 (premiered by Adolph Brodsky, the creator of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto).
