“Salon des Alpages” Alpine farmers fair

Introduzione
The 13th edition of the Diablerets Alpine Pastures Fair will take place from 9 to 11 October 2026 at the Maison des Congrès!
The 2026 edition of the fair has announced a powerful theme: **the International Year of Pastoralism – how does this affect us all?**
The programme for this festive weekend includes a wide range of activities and exhibitions to suit all tastes.
**Friday 9 October 2026**
* **6.30 pm** Doors open
* **7.30 pm** Country concert featuring Les BerGex and Les Zanonymes in the marquee
* Bar and food (raclette). The ticket, priced at CHF 20, includes admission to the concert and a voucher for the first raclette (complimentary)

**Saturday 10 October 2026**
* **9.00 am** Exhibition opens
* **10.00 am** Film screenings in the main hall of the Maison des Congrès
* **2.00 pm** Conference with various stakeholders involved in pastoralism in the Salon Vert
* **4.00 pm** End of the conference
* **6.00 pm** Stalls close
* **6.30 pm** Complimentary drinks reception in the foyer of the Maison des Congrès
* **8.00 pm** Festive evening with a dinner in honour of the associations and organisations working to promote pastoralism, in the main hall of the Maison des Congrès, with entertainment provided by the Jean-Claude Pernet country orchestra. Open to all, by registration only via the website www.salondesalpages.ch or by calling +41 21 614 25 32
* **Midnight** Event closes
**Sunday 11 October 2026**
* **09.00** am Exhibition opens
* **09.30** am Film screenings in the main hall of the Maison des Congrès
* **10.00 am** First round of presentations by the various host organisations and associations working to promote pastoralism, in front of the outdoor area reserved for guests of honour
* **1.00 pm** Second round of presentations by the various host organisations and associations working to promote pastoralism, in front of the guests of honour’s outdoor area
* **2.00 pm** Presentation of livestock from the Vallée des Ormonts and the Vaud Alps in the show ring
* **2.45 pm** Prize-giving ceremony for the ‘School on the Farm’ competition on pastoralism, for pupils from schools in the region
* **5.00 pm** Exhibition closes
