Inleiding

Fin-de-siècle, belle époque en Jugendstil bepalen de ambiance in hotel Schweizerhof Flims. In de zomer lokt het Caumameer en de geurende alpenflora, 's winters zijn het de 235 kilometer piste en de heerlijke winterwandelpaden. Sinds 2008 wordt het hotel geleid door de 4e generatie van de familie Schmidt. Restaurant Belle Epoque, halfpension of à la carte met hoogwaardige producten met een Frans accent.

Beschrijving

Fin de siècle, Belle Époque and Art Nouveau styles set the atmosphere at the Schweizerhof Flims. In summer it is Lake Cauma and the fragrant alpine flora that invite the visitor, and in the winter it is the 235 kilometres of ski slopes and beautiful winter hiking trails. Since 2008, the hotel has been managed by the 4th generation of the Schmidt family. Our Belle Époque restaurant, half board or a la carte, for high quality meals with a French influence.

Swiss Historic Hotel

Traditioneel hotel, dat in 1903 in belle époquestijl en Jugendstil is gebouwd. Tegenwoordig wordt het door de 4 generatie van de familie geleid. De regisseur Daniel Schmid was kleinzoon van de oprichter van het hotel en heeft er cultureel zijn stempel opgedrukt. Ook Albert Einstein, keizerin Zita en Marie Curie kwamen hier voor hun "zomervakantie". De geschiedenis van de Schweizerhof kan nagelezen worden in het boek "Literarische Grandhotels der Schweiz".

By car: take the highway A3/A13 to Chur or travel via the San Bernardino route and exit at Flims. You can also reach Flims by taking an impressive scenic drive over the Lukmanier or Oberalp pass routes. By train: International connections will take you to Chur. Change here to catch the post-bus to Flims Waldhaus/ Caumasee. Same procedure if you decide to take the Rhaetian Railways to Ilanz.
