Wandelingen tijdens de Grand Tour of Switzerland

Het wereldberoemde verhaal van Heidi kun je in Maienfeld al wandelend leren kennen en ervaren. Het verhaal wordt op een speelse manier overgebracht en de route is zelfs met een kinderwagen gemakkelijk begaanbaar. Een belevenis voor jong en oud!

Je kunt de unieke meren- en plantenwereld van Oberengadin hoog in de Alpen ontdekken tijdens een 2 1/2 uur durende rondwandeling naar de 6 Lejins (Reto-Romaans – kleine meren). De kristalheldere bergmeren bevatten mineralen en steensoorten waarnaar ze genoemd zijn.

Leventina, Blenio and Riviera – this tour shows the valleys of the northern Ticino in their best light. The walk leads below the summit of Monte Matro through larch forests, colourful meadows and across pastures. The Pian d'Alpe hut is a pleasant place for a break.

The 5-Lakes Trail is an extraordinary hiking path in the mountains of Zermatt. The Matterhorn is reflected in three of the mountain lakes and the view of the towering peaks is awe-inspiring. The trail connects the Stellisee, Grindjisee, Grünsee, Moosjisee and Leisee lakes.

Leading up from the valley of «Vallon de Van» to the Lac de Salanfe at the foot of the Dents du Midi, this hiking trail passes through a wild Alpine landscape to an abandoned gold mine.

De rotsenarena Creux du Van met het grootste beschermd natuurgebied van het kanton Neuchâtel is een van de hoogtepunten in de Jura. Deze e-biketocht brengt je omhoog naar dit natuurwonder.

Geschiedenis, wijngaarden, gastronomie: de Vully is een populaire wandelbestemming. Via het historische pad door de kleinste van de grote Zwitserse wijnbouwgebieden keer je terug naar het begin van West-Zwitserland. Je kunt er genieten van een prachtig uitzicht over het driemerengebied, de Jura en de Alpen.

This round trip follows for awhile on the five-star hiking trail and ends in the town Diemtigen which was awarded the Wakker-Price for its cultural constructions.

Entlebuch is het eerste en enige biosfeerreservaat van Zwitserland. Het Moorpfad (“veenroute”) gaat naar Mettilimoos ten oosten van het Finsterwald. Je wandelt over hoogveen, overgangsveen en laagveen. Een prachtig, beschermd gebied met uitzicht op Entlebuch.

This rewarding tour leads through the home country of the Freiberger horses, to the small Jurassic town of Saignelégier. Here you can enjoy wide views over the extensive Jura pastures as well as the Franches-Montagnes district.

This is an easy hike, following one of the many paths of the so-called pastoral migration. Humans and animals kept moving around, depending on the season, always in search of water. The loop trail explores the sophisticated antique irrigation system and ends with the emerald green waters of the Verzasca river.

Deze wandeling gaat langs de wijngaarden in het prachtige Geneefse landschap aan de rechteroever van de rivier. Vanuit Meyrin wandel je naar Bourdigny-Dessous, Choully, Peissy, Russin, Dardagny, Malval en terug naar Meyrin.
