The 5-Lakes Trail is an extraordinary hiking path in the mountains of Zermatt. The Matterhorn is reflected in three of the mountain lakes and the view of the towering peaks is awe-inspiring. The trail connects the Stellisee, Grindjisee, Grünsee, Moosjisee and Leisee lakes.

Between the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, forests and idyllic landscapes, this beautiful circular hike, which starts in Cully, leads via Riex to the Tour de Gourze, from where there is a spectacular view of Lake Geneva, the Alps and the Jura. The way back leads past the tranquil Lac de Bret and through the vineyards of Epesses back to Cully.

Mettelimoos moorland path

Entlebuch é a primeira e única reserva de biosfera da Suíça. O caminho pantanoso existente nessa região leva a Mettelimoos, a leste de Finsterwald. A caminhada segue entre pântanos de terras altas, pântanos de transição e brejos. Grandes quantidades de turfa costumavam ser cortadas nessa área que é, hoje, uma belíssima zona protegida com vista para a comuna de Entlebuch.

This is an easy hike, following one of the many paths of the so-called pastoral migration. Humans and animals kept moving around, depending on the season, always in search of water. The loop trail explores the sophisticated antique irrigation system and ends with the emerald green waters of the Verzasca river.

There are unusual sights to see above the Magadino Plain, wineries and the elaborately restored village of Curzútt among them. The hiking trail leads to the Romanesque San Bernardo church with its valuable frescoes. The suspension bridge spanning a 100 m deep ravine is sure to offer an adrenaline rush.
