With Fahre, Schwyzerörgeli and cello player Kristina Brunner has created a large-scale work that makes soundscapes, atmospheric images and movement between the familiar and the unfamiliar audible. Inspired by Pedro Lenz's text of the same name, words and music interweave to form a poetic web about being on the road - sometimes groovy, sometimes meditative, always carried by the joy of discovery.
The Kristina Brunner Ensemble unites musicians from new folk music, jazz and free improvisation. In this special line-up, a wide sound space unfolds in which tradition and innovation meet. Author Pedro Lenz himself is part of the performance and brings the literary level to life with his voice. Brunner, who was awarded the Cultural Promotion Prize of the City of Thun in 2016, is regarded as one of the most exciting voices in new Swiss folk music.
Note: Even in the summer months, it is cool in the Rittersaal. It's worth taking a jacket with you.
