Overzicht
Inleiding
An evening event featuring photographers Xavier Lambours, Benny Tâche, Gérard-Philippe Mabillard and artistic director Sophie Schwery Colla. Hosted by Yannick Barillon.
Designer labels, greeting cards by leading photographers, architect-designed wine cellars, exhibitions in the cellars, artistic trails through the vineyards, art projects with a touch of land art… art and wine inspire one another.
And photography and wine: an extraordinary alchemy of two worlds that blend and enrich one another !
Over the course of an evening, three photographers and an artistic director will discuss the close links between these two worlds.
The speakers:
* Sophie Schwery Colla – artistic director and production manager
‘Creating images that leave a lasting impression and inspire.’ These are the words of Sophie Schwery and her husband, the photographer Gianluca Colla, when speaking of their passion for photography and their collaborative work. A passion to which she devotes herself with creativity, care and meticulous attention to detail.
* Xavier Lambours – photographer
He became a photographer whilst aspiring to work in film: “I want to photograph eternity.” Xavier Lambours is a leading artist, a renowned portraitist and a magician who also fell head over heels in love with the vineyards of Valais, which he has photographed.
* Benny Tâche – photographer
A free spirit, curious, lively and a keen listener, he loves to suggest a story and convey a powerful emotion through his images. For him, photography is an act of love, because it is, above all, about taking an interest in others. He sees beauty everywhere and shares his vision: ‘to enhance whilst preserving the uniqueness’
* Gérard-Philippe Mabillard – photographer
Cinema and photography are his two greatest passions, and have been the source of so many encounters and friendships. He has published four books of photographs. In his latest book, \*The Stars’ Share\*, a glass of wine subtly links all the subjects photographed.
