Vicanta 2026 – I Cantori delle cime
Overzicht
Inleiding
The historic Rassegna Corale Vicanta returns to Lugano for its 32nd edition, organized by the I Cantori delle Cime with the support of the City of Lugano.
The protagonists of the 2026 edition will be the Coro Genzianella (TN), the Coro Città di Carignano (TO), and the Coro delle Rocce di Cugnasco-Gerra, along with the Cantori delle Cime directed by Manuel Rigamonti.
The program includes afternoon itinerant concerts in the churches of Sant'Antonio and San Rocco starting at 2:30 PM, while the evening concert at 8:30 PM will liven up the Park of Villa Costanza in Viganello. In case of bad weather, the event will be held in the Church of San Rocco.
Vicanta represents an important moment of gathering among choirs united by a passion for folk singing and choral tradition. Alpine, popular, and author repertoires will intertwine during a day of music, culture, and sharing.
