Hiking with the gamekeeper
Overzicht
Inleiding
Game warden Andi Muhmenthaler with his BGS Cajun will accompany us on the way from Rothorn to Scharmoin.
He will tell us various things about the native wildlife. It is possible that we will spot one or two chamois or ibex.
What to bring: Good shoes, clothing suitable for the weather and season, sun and rain protection, personal medications, food, drink
Cost: CHF 110.00, including the gondola ride to Scharmoin and Rothorn one way.
Meeting point: 8:15 a.m. at Rothornbahn parking lot
Itinerary of the hike:
Gondola to Rothorn
Hike to the waterfall via Sanaspans, return to Scharmoin. Those who wish can take the gondola back to the Rothorn parking lot or walk the rest of the way back.
Back at the starting point at approx. 2:30 p.m.
T3, moderately difficult (partial section) route.
Number of participants: at least 2 people
Registration by July 4, 2026, or by July 30, 2026, using the registration form. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
