Inleiding

The Ticino bread cake (torta di pane) is a traditional Swiss dish.

Step 1

Cut the bread into small cubes.

Step 2

Whisk the eggs.

Step 3

Grease a hoop mould.

Step 4

Bring the milk to a boil.

Step 5

Add the bread cubes into the milk.

Step 6

Add cocoa and sugar and leave to stand for a few hours.

Step 7

Add all the remaining ingredients (except pine nuts).

Step 8

Fill the dough into the mould.

Step 9

Sprinkle with pine nuts.

Step 10

Bake for 75 minutes at 180 °C.
