In September and October, the Schaffhausen Pinot Noir Region celebrates its fall festivals. The villages are decked out and colorfully decorated. During these cheerful festivities, barns are transformed into cozy taverns, village squares and vineyards bustle with activity, and the new vintage of wine bubbles away in most cellars and wine presses.
