Concert: Musica Latina – Chitarra Trio
Overzicht
Inleiding
Guitar concert with Enrico Barbareschi and Leopoldo Saracino in the church San Andrea in Chamues-ch. Detailed description and program will follow.
Two guitars for three styles of music. The path begins with Baroque music by German composer Johann Paul Schiffelholz for two gallichons, instruments similar to the lute. Italian classicism by Filippo Gragnani, a Livorno-born musician active in Paris in the early 1800s, follows. The program concludes with two works by Viennese composer Ferdinand Rebay, a late Romantic author characterized by a distinct melodic vein.
