St. Nicholas - Train Rides
Overzicht
Inleiding
Following last year's success with our St. Nicholas rides, we're once again sending our museum train—complete with St. Nicholas—on a journey this year.
There are two trips in the afternoon on the diesel locomotive and historic passenger cars, at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., from Ramsen to the Hemishofer Bridge over the Rhine. There, St. Nicholas Marjan—who has come to us from far, far away—will hand out gifts, and then the train will return to Ramsen.
Fares are per person (adult), including a gift basket: 25.00 Swiss francs or euros; families (2 adults and 2 children) 50.00, and 5.00 for each additional child. Children under 6 ride free.

Advent Window Opening with Social Gathering:
As part of the contemplative Advent season in the town of Ramsen, there will be, as in previous years, an Advent window opening at 5:00 p.m., followed by a social gathering at the train station.
Inside the station, Flurin Fausch’s LGB model train set is on display, with trains cheerfully circling the track accompanied by sound effects. As a guest, you can take a seat at the upper end of the layout to watch the trains run and have the service train bring mulled wine, oranges, and pastries right to you. This is always a great opportunity to chat with fellow club members, people from Ramsen, the surrounding communities, and our German neighbors.
