The "God da Tamangur" Swiss stone pine forest in Val S-charl is one of the most impressive and highest Swiss stone pine forests in Europe.
Its gnarled Swiss stone pines tell of times gone by, of change and permanence.
Find out how this extraordinary forest has developed and changed over the last 100 years.
As part of a research project with the UNESCO Biosfera Engiadina Val Müstair, its history has been reconstructed in detail and shows
the impetus it has provided for art, culture and research to this day.
