After another successful edition last year, the Wildstrubel by UTMB returns from September 10 to 13, 2026, to offer you an extraordinary experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
After another successful edition last year, the Wildstrubel by UTMB returns from September 10 to 13, 2026, to offer you an extraordinary experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Organized between the cantons of Valais and Bern, with routes that allow you to circumnavigate the Wildstrubel massif and discover the most beautiful alpine peaks, the event will also excite the most puristic trail runners for a 100% WILD adventure.

Wildstrubel by UTMB:
In September, the ultratrail race Wildstrubel by UTMB takes place. The runners of the different categories will pass through Leukerbad as follows:
· Friday night (September 11) – WILD 110: Sportarena 00:00 – 03:00 | Gemmipass 01:00 – 05:00
· Sunday (September 13) – WILD 25: Start at the town hall at 09:30
During the mentioned times, there may be short road closures in the village. On Sunday, the Thermenstrasse will be closed from 07:00 to 11:00. For more information about the race, you can find it here.
