The hotel - charming & special: The 4-star superior Hotel Matterhorn FOCUS was opened in 2008. Here, art, design and lifestyle combine with architecture and nature. The warm, relaxed nature of the hosts and staff meets the highest quality and great attention to detail.
The location - unique: Located directly at the valley station "Matterhorn Glacier Paradies" and only 10 minutes away from the shops and localities of the famous Bahnhofstrasse. On arrival, a hotel's own electric shuttle picks up guests directly from Zermatt train station.
The rooms - an experience: 30 double and family rooms as well as suites (including 3 suites with fireplace), open up a view of the Valais mountains, most of them with a view of the Matterhorn or the village. The rooms are divided into three buildings and are connected underground. House C with five double rooms, one suite 50 and one junior suite - all with a view of the Matterhorn - was renovated in summer 2019.
The ambience - stylish and warm-hearted: Equipped with furniture and objects by the famous designer Heinz Julen, Swiss comfort meets alpine, relaxed lifestyle. With lots of wood, glass and materials from the region.
The spa area - stylish and relaxing: An oasis of well-being with heated indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi. Relaxation room, sauna, steam bath, brine bath, light meditation, body and facial treatments with Alpienne products.
Offer - excellent: The perfect day starts with a pampering breakfast with crispy breads from local bakeries, fresh fruit, homemade muesli, hot and cold dishes, fruit juices, cheese variations and many other regional products. In the evening, the day ends with a cozy aperitif at the hotel bar. Small snack menu available in the evening.

Boutique & Design Hotels and Lodgings

A concepção arquitetônica e as instalações internas são do artista Heinz Julen de Zermatt. Para o hotel, ele criou luminárias, sofás, camas e banheiras livres com vista ao Matterhorn. Na instalação de bem-estar, a piscina interna flutua ilimitadamente para fora. Aqui também percebe-se a mão do artista Julen: sua composição de material, cor e luz parece surpreendente e refrescante.
