From festivals and concerts to urban picnics, the vibrant cultural and spa city of Baden delights its summer visitors with a wealth of open-air culture and offers unforgettable summer moments.

The famous “Baden spirit” gives Baden’s cultural life that extra-special touch and is reflected in the city’s many events and festivals, which are organised with a great deal of commitment and passion. Speaking of festivals, Baden is home to no fewer than six festivals, ranging from music to art, which are sure to inspire young and old alike: the “One Of A Million” music festival (February), the Bluesfestival Baden (May), the Figura Theatre Festival (June), the “GameSoul” gaming festival (June), public festival "Badenfahrt" (August) and the International Animation Film Festival “Fantoche” (September).

And those seeking even more culture and unforgettable moments outdoors can enjoy concerts at the Kurtheater Baden open-air theatre in the idyllic Kurpark or at the cosy Triebguet open-air bar. Incidentally, the bar is also an ideal meeting place for sun worshippers and bon vivants thanks to its location right on the banks of the Limmat river, with gorgeous views of the river and Baden’s historic old town district. Other pretty terraces and bars also invite guests to enjoy balmy summer evenings and Baden’s unadulterated joie de vivre.
