Introdução
The Yellow House in Flims is a redesigned old farmhouse, which was painted yellow until its renovation in 1997 (which is why it was called Yellow House). Although the house is now resplendent in white, the old moniker remains.
Valerio Olgati was very conscientious in following the specifications set by his father, the Swiss architect Rudolf Olgiati, regarding preserving the “Yellow House” in Flims and redesigning it as a museum. The House of Art has already won several prizes. It serves as an exhibition space and conference venue for Alpine architecture and includes (among other exhibits) Rudolf Olgiati’s precious collection of cultural assets.
