Introdução
The location of Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn and in the middle of an enormous hiking and ski region makes it one of the world's most attractive vacation villages.
Visitors on a walking tour through the village will discover, for example, why the Valaisian barns are standing on wooden stilts with round stone plates, how villagers earned a living before the tourists came, and how the profession of mountain guides developed. In Täsch, guests can also visit the mill and the bake house. After a stroll through the village, they will see Zermatt and Täsch with different eyes.
