In the former fishing village of Morcote, for instance, with its shady arcades and lakefront cafes, or maybe at the sublime Scherrer Park shortly after the exit to the village. From Cadepiano, the road leads up to Agra and a pretty church surrounded by vineyards. The view is phenomenal. Just after Montagnola, the adoptive home of Hermann Hesse, the Church of Sant’Abbondio provides a taste of Tuscany and a wonderful end to this romantic route.
