This snowshoe trail leads through some magical places between Rotenboden and Riffelberg. Well before dusk, the Riffelhorn casts its shadow over Riffelsee lake. It is a magical moment in winter known as the blue hour. A calmness descends on the mountain and the ski pistes stretch out into the distance.

Take the time to breathe deeply and continue your route, as a glorious panorama is about to come in to view. View of the Matterhorn, the Obergabelhorn and the Weisshorn.

Don’t forget to take your camera with you to capture these extraordinary moments. A fairy tale winter day out; one that you won’t forget in a hurry.
