The rustic original building from the year 1661 is located on the Mäschenboden, near the small Walser village of Davos-Monstein.
It is truly off the tourist route. The hut has 6 beds and is rented on a weekly basis. A tiled stove heats the hut, which is supplied with solar energy and has running water. There is no mobile phone reception. The hut is reached on a leisurely hike in barely an hour from Davos-Monstein.
