The Hotel Adler is a charming three-star establishment situated in the heart of the Niederdorf, Zurich's picturesque Old Town. Rudolf Koller, Switzerland's famous landscape painter, spent his youth here. And now, the venerable old walls house a city hotel with first-rate comforts. One typically Swiss pleasure to be had here is dinner in the Swiss Chuchi, which has a quaint interior and counts Adler fondue, zesty Raclette and crispy Rösti among its specialities.

Here guests do not just stay the night in a typical Old Town establishment dating from the 16th century, but also in the place where the famous Swiss animal and landscape artist Rudolf Koller made his first sketches on the walls. The elegant rooms have a very special style and invite guests to relax and indulge themselves.

The Swiss Chuchi restaurant serves authentic Swiss specialties – such as the classic cheese fondue dish, “Adler Käsefondue”, and crispy rösti potato cakes.

The picturesque Lake Zürich and world-famous Bahnhofstrasse are just a stone’s throw away. In addition, there are numerous charming cafés, bars, and restaurants nearby. And the Limmatquai invites visitors to stroll and linger awhile.

The Hotel Adler's room concept was inspired by local history.

Each room is decorated with a mural by the artist Heinz Blum showing a different Old Town scene. An illustrated street map is also provided to help you find the sights depicted.

The book "A Way of Seeing Zurich" provided by the hotel invites guests to discover Zurich by suggesting six impressionistic walks through the Old Town.
