The traditional Hotel Saratz in Pontresina is a very special place: in the inspiring ambience of the fin-de-siècle hotel grandeur, modern lifestyle meets four-star quality and is celebrated in an amazingly informal way. The Saratz, nestled in a 35,000 square metre hotel park, is characterised by the elegance of Art Nouveau and the warmth of the hosts. Most of the 91 rooms, family rooms and junior suites score with a fantastic view of the Val Roseg. Gourmets are drawn to the two restaurants at the Hotel Saratz in summer: the classic Art Nouveau restaurant and our temporary PROVISORI restaurant (until 30 March 2025). In winter, our fondue and raclette Stübli LA CUORT spoils guests from Thursday to Sunday. The Hotel Saratz is also a perfect place for weddings, family celebrations, business events and congresses thanks to the close cooperation with the Pontresina Congress and Cultural Centre.The Hotel Saratz is located in Pontresina near St. Moritz, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden in the Upper Engadine. Pontresina, the only village in the highest side valley of the Engadin high valley, offers excellent winter sports conditions as well as excellent recreational opportunities in summer. The Hotel Saratz can be found nestled amongst the Engadin mountains and scores highly among guests with its two excellent restaurants, a hotel bar with wonderful sun terrace, its own large and varied park with outdoor pool, as well as tastefully designed rooms. The view of the Roseg Glacier makes the atmosphere that much more special. The charming art nouveau ballroom can be tailored to individual requirements and conjures up a fairy-tale atmosphere for the most beautiful day of your life. Depending on how the seating is laid out, there is enough space for up to 140 guests. The PROVISORI with its five tavern-style rooms offers a unique, laid-back atmosphere for smaller, more intimate celebrations! The Strauss Pavillon is our special outdoor venue for all couples who want to say “I do” out in the open air.

Relaxing spa experiences in the exclusive Engadin wellness facility at this 4-star hotel: panoramic indoor pool, whirlpool, wood sauna, natural stone steam bath, experience showers, ice fountain, relaxation room, modern gym with view of the Roseg Glacier. The heated pool in the hotel’s 35,000m² park invites guests to have fun in the water from June to the end of September. Massages, spa treatments, relaxing Sarazenen spa bath with Rhassoul peeling, free yoga classes. Two restaurants, gourmet breakfast served until 11 a.m.
