Eaux-Vives Public Beach
Swimming right in the heart of the city has always been popular with locals and tourists alike. And now they have another place to do just that, with the new Eaux-Vives Public Beach, which also makes you feel like you’re on a lakeside holiday. It features a long, wide sandy beach, with a number of pebble sections. In addition, the leafy park connected to the beach is a perfect place to unwind. What’s more, visitors will be able to enjoy street food and ice creams served from the electric tricycles operating along the beach front.The “Anneau Aquatique”
This incredible sunbathing area has been built near to the Tour Carrée, just a stone’s throw from the city centre. Sunbathers can have fun while enjoying the lake on this ring-shaped structure over the water, which measures 40 metres in diameter. This circular platform was built out of concrete, which has been covered in wood, and boasts a sort of lakeside pool in the middle.For more information: Eaux-Vives Public Beach
