路易斯·雪佛兰（Louis Chevrolet）纪念碑
路易斯·雪佛兰出生于1878年，年幼时就随父母移居法国。他在法国的工厂车间传授自己的技艺并成功举办了自行车比赛。1900年，雪佛兰移居加拿大，一年后又迁居美国，在那里很快成为受人追捧的赛车选手和汽车制造者。1911年，路易斯·雪佛兰创建了密歇根州雪佛兰汽车公司——为日后饱受欢迎的传奇汽车品牌“雪佛兰（Chevy）”打下了基础。
出生于日内瓦的年轻艺术家Christian Gonzenbach创作了这座高达5米、重达8吨的塑像，以纪念路易斯·雪佛兰于1911年11月3日在底特律与合作者共同创立雪佛兰品牌100周年。壮观的雕像用抽象的手法表现雪佛兰这位追求速度的商人和发明家，和其他众多经典作品不同，这尊雕像没有安装在底座上，而是竖立在Parc de l'Ouest公园供人触摸，还可以与人“平视”。
