Poster "Play"
"Play", an exhibition poster, is part of the series with which designer Martin Woodtli (born in Bern in 1971) won the Design Prize Switzerland in 2007: screen-printing is the only method that allows overlaying of individual semi-transparent layers of colour. This technique has now been perfected; it is more complex and costly than others, and is mainly used for cultural posters that must meet high aesthetic standards, in small print runs.
