Description
On the highest point of the Rossberg - the Wildspitz at 1,580 m.a.s.l - the views are unequaled. The valley basin of Schwyz with Lake Lauerz lies at your feet, and to your north, the Zugerland with Lakes Zug and Ägeri. Whether you go on foot or by bike to the Wildspitz, the incredible views never fail to amaze tourists and locals alike. There are footpaths from every direction and well-signposted routes lead from Zug, Oberwil, Walchwil, Unterägeri, Sattel and Steinerberg directly up to the Wildspitz.
How to get there:
PostBus to Steinerberg / Sattel. Not accessible by car (cars can travel only as far as Steinerberg).
Sunset:
The sunsets, with views of the Schwyz Valley (including Lauerzer Lake) and of the Zug region with Lake Zug and Lake Ägeri, are fabulous photo opportunities.
