The legendary Witches' Downhill on the Belalp has been attracting skiers from all over Switzerland for over 40 years. In 2026, the major event has a new feature:
The Belalp Hexe Vertical Race will take place for the first time. Endurance athletes will conquer around 1,000 vertical meters from Blatten (1,300 m above sea level) to Schönbiehl (2,300 m above sea level) - whether on foot, touring skis or snowshoes.
The start is in individual, couples or team categories. Anyone who competes in both the downhill and vertical categories will be awarded the title of combined champion.

- Combination Alpine & Vertical: CHF 100.
- Online payment is made conveniently using major credit cards in accordance with Datasport guidelines.
- The entry fee includes all services listed in the regulations.
- Late registrations on site pay the entry fee in cash (CHF).
- From January 1st: Entry fee CHF 100.
