MONOH x Alessandro Giannelli Piano and sitar - you don't hear that every day. In their new project, the two long-time friends Alessandro Giannelli and Roger Odermatt aka MONOH explore this unusual instrumentation and recorded an album last year, which they gave the working title "The Seasons Sessions". "The whole process felt almost out of this world organic to us. From the idea, to the first jams in the studio, to arranging and recording the tracks together," the two summarize their musical journey. "We have created something timeless for ourselves and are looking forward to everything that is yet to come."
There is a lot of melancholy in their music, but also always hope, and it gently carries the listener forward. It is music to immerse yourself in and it goes well with a cozy winter evening in a tipi.
