Discover Basel in a new way every month. You will have an opportunity to visit the Blaues Haus and the Weisses Haus, the former residences of the silk ribbon manufacturers.
On our tour you will discover how silk ribbon manufacturers brought wealth to Basel and what this has to do with the most important industry in the city today. Our tour takes you to the two former family homes of the Sarasin family - from the cellars to the servant's quarters in the attic rooms - and will give you an insight into life of an aristocratic Basel household.
