Lofthotel, Design and Lifestyle Hotel***S, Murg

Reuse, recycle, reinvent: this is exactly what was done with a discarded SBB cargo wagon. It now stands on the railway tracks next to the sagibeiz restaurant, and has been lovingly converted into a small, high-quality ‟suite” with magnificent lake and mountain views. A stove provides cosy warmth even in winter. Primarily recycled materials (plenty of iron) were used for the wagon’s exterior. The interior is made of new and old wood, and the beds have been equipped with Riposa mattresses (produced in the region). The private balcony as well as the lake sauna complete the stay.

1001 Steilas Suite

The 1001 Steilas Suite has been created on the roof terrace of the Hotel Adula in Flims. Since this December, guests have been sleeping in the transparent, heated dome with its own wood-heated hot tub and breathtaking views under the winter starry sky.
