The Sorell Hotel Ador is one of the most popular business hotels in the city of Bern. The building has recently been refurbished and has now regained its former splendor. The hotel features a well-equipped conference center, spacious banquet facilities and a café-bar-lounge for relaxation and enjoyment. The Sorell Hotel Ador is located in the center of Bern within easy walking distance of the main train station and Bern’s charming Old Town, with its wide range of shopping possibilities. The Federal Building (Bundeshaus), bear pit, cathedral and clock bell tower, known as the ‘Zytgloggeturm’, are all sightseeing highlights which can be reached from the hotel in just a few minutes. The hotel has excellent access to public transport. The Parkhaus City West provides sufficient parking spaces for guests traveling by car.

Meetings
The three-star hotel is centrally located and only a five-minute walk from the train station. Moreover, it has direct access to the City West car park. The old town with all the sights and shopping opportunities is also in close proximity. Some of the venues have artificial light sources.

The prices include breakfast and value-added tax per room and night. The City Tax of CHF 4.30 / EUR 3.60 charged per person and night is not included. After the first night you will receive a Bern Ticket for the rest of your stay and therefore you can enjoy free traveling in the zones 100/101 of the LIBERO-Tariff System.

Cancellations before 1 day of arrival are free of charge. Cancellations at the day of arrival are at a charge of the first night.

By air
The hotel is located approximately 80 miles from the Zurich-Kloten International Airport (ZRH). The direct train ride to Bern takes 75 minutes.
The hotel is located only six miles from Bern’s local airport (BRN). The journey by taxi to the city center takes approximately 20 minutes.
By public transport
Leave the Bern main train station from the exit on the western side. From there, the Sorell Hotel Ador is only a five-minute walk away.
By car
Highway exit Bern-Forsthaus. Approx. 2 km direction city center. (Follow the signs "Zentrum" than parking "City-West.) An elevator connects the car park to the hotel. We can charge the parking to your account (CHF 28.00/day).
