Leysin - Les Mosses - La Lécherette
Intro
In the heart of the Vaud Alps, the Leysin-Les Mosses-La Lécherette ski resorts not only have 100km of groomed pistes between them, but also impress with many other activities.
These three contiguous ski resorts boast 55km of blue, 42km of red and 3km of black runs. A night-time ski run can be found in the nearby village of La Forclaz. The ski region of Les Mosses–La Lécherette is particularly popular with families, who love the snow kindergarten and beginner slopes. A magic carpet and gentle descents help make learning to ski easy. Access to the park is free for all children up to the age of nine. And for a change of scene, head to the giant playground in the snow.
Leysin is famous for its glazed Le Kuklos revolving restaurant on the Berneuse, at 2,048m above sea level, which boasts 360° panorama views of the Valais mountain world. The Tobogganing Park offers four to eight tracks with sharp bends that visitors shoot down on snow tubes. In winter, the south-facing slopes are a magnet for sun-seeking skiers. Skiing aces can slalom all the way down to the resort, while freestylers delight in jumps and tricks in the specially designed snowpark with its unique half-pipe.
The charming village of Les Mosses lies at 1,450m above sea level amidst the Vaud Alps. The family-friendly resort on the high plateau of Les Mosses-La Lécherette has many activities on offer in both summer and winter.
