A small village in the easternmost point of Switzerland that is nestled in a unique mountain range, it is sure to have snow thanks to its elevation of over 1,800 metres above sea level. Samnaun is quite simply the ideal place for your winter holidays. The Silvretta Arena ski region is extremely popular with snow sports enthusiasts. Skiers and snowboarders will be pleased to discover an amazing multi-mountain, boundary-breaking experience that also embraces the winter sports resort of Ischgl in Tyrol: 239 kilometres of pistes, 45 modern transport facilities, snow parks and permanent ski-cross slopes are just part of what's available. Once you're done with the mountain, you can ski right into the centre of the tranquil mountain village. But save a bit of energy to stroll through the 40 duty-free shops in what is “probably Europe’s highest high street”, as the Samnaun locals are fond of saying.
