Intro
Enjoy skiing pleasure at its very best on the descent through the Oldental valley in the Glacier 3000 / Les Diablerets ski area. This challenging piste starts at almost 3,000 m.a.s.l. and takes you through high-Alpine mountain terrain to the Oldenalp 1,100 metres below.
The Scex Rouge mountain station is the starting point for one of the most pleasing downhill runs in this region. Warm up by taking a few swings on the blue-marked piste before you reach the glacier. At Oldensattel the panorama and gradient change sharply as the piste plunges down the isolated Oldenbach high-Alpine valley. In the process it covers several steep steps until running almost level near the Oldenalp - a wonderful treat for experienced skiers. Its altitude ensures that the route remains snow-sure until early-May.
