A closer look at dragons! Around Lakes Hallwil and Baldegg you’ll find a variety of different family activities that focus on dragons. Whether in the castle, on the lake or in Schongiland amusement park, you’ll find clues to tell you that there are dragons about.

Dragon Valley brings together various existing family activities using the story of the dragons of Seetal. The story can be experienced in the form of audio stations and dragon research centres. The annual dragon festival held in Hallwyl Castle in May of each year is the highlight of the summer dragon season. The motto of Dragon Valley: Dive into the world of dragonology, set your imagination free and experience Seetal from a new perspective.

Audio station: You’ll find information on the current state of research into dragons at the eight audio stations in Dragon Valley. A QR code lets the whole family to listen to reports about special encounters with dragons or unusual sightings.

Adventure map: The Dragon Valley adventure map also shows ideal places for researchers to take a break: swimming spots, restaurants, barbecue areas and playgrounds, as well as other highlights

Children’s book: To help young researchers to learn even more about the peculiarities of the dragon families before or after their trip to Dragon Valley, Professor Ambrosius Ferdinand Sigismund Maria von und zu Drachenfels has published a new book: the “Seetal Dragon Saga, Volume 231”. The richly illustrated book is available at various locations in Seetal, in bookshops and online at www.drakologie.ch.
