Intro
Dreilindenpark – colloquially also known as “Konsipark” – is not only the largest public park in the city of Lucerne, offering breathtaking views, but also a place of culture. Originally the home of the Lucerne School of Music, this is where works of fine art are to be put on display in the future.
The English-style park with plenty of old trees and far-reaching panoramic views of the Alps is set over an area of 35,000 square metres.
The park includes the castle-like Villa Vicovaro as its main building, an outbuilding, a gatehouse and artificial ruins of a gateway, marble sculptures and a grotto. Since 1929, the plot of land has belonged to the city of Lucerne.
The city of Lucerne is keen to ensure that Dreilindenpark remains a place of culture. The property of the former “Konsi” (conservatory) has been rented out to an art dealer and will in future be transformed into an art villa with paintings, a café and a library.
