35mm Triple Feature (Kultmoviegang Goes Analog)
Saturday, Dec. 12, 26 | Lichtspiel Bern
Nolan swears by it, and so do we: The man hauls cameras as big as refrigerators around the set just to capture his films on real celluloid, and we think he’s absolutely right. On December 12, we’re bringing the film reel back to Lichtspiel Bern.
Three cult classics in their original 35mm format, complete with scratches, splices, and cinematic nostalgia that no 4K can ever replicate. Our 35mm triple feature debut is all about wintery ’90s gold—a double dose of Burton meets bona fide Annie Wilkes madness.
Running Order
4:00 PM – Edward Scissorhands | Perhaps the most tender love story Tim Burton has ever told.
6:30 PM – Batman Returns | Gotham City celebrates Christmas, with the Penguin, Catwoman, and Burton at the height of his gothic style.
9:00 p.m. – Misery | An author, an admirer, and a sledgehammer. Kathy Bates shows you what true “number-one fan” energy means.
All films will be presented in their original language with German subtitles.
Of course, we’ll be there in person again and will provide food and drinks between screenings so you can stick it out until the very end.

It’s simple: CHF 35 for the entire triple feature, whether you’re a member or not. Tickets are available here: https://www.kultmoviegang.ch/shop
